My headache doesn't seem to be going away. How annoying. I bet this has something to do with stress. And a general lack of exercise. And the inevitable betrayal of my back and shoulder muscles.
I'm delaying the contest until tomorrow. I forgot that I have agame chronicle to run storytell tonight.
I got a drive-by from the collaborator. She had an interesting tidbit. I drooled a little on my keyboard. I already have a few fragments of the origin story floating around. Very soon it'll get some screen-time.
I think I'm going to sit on my couch for an hour and read the Chicago sourcebook that feels like its pages are laced with depleted uranium.
Hey, yeah, that's right, suckahz. My office has a couch. From the Salvation Army. It smells like dogs. So there!

Dead Wicked's site got an update, though it's only a cosmetic one.
deedupuy and I need to discuss what we'll do next, as soon as she recovers from AnimeBoston. Outline is still fermenting. Bubble. Bubble.
This is probably the first weekend when I haven't felt like I should be at work. Though I did go into work...to meet Tamma, who took me out to see her perfectly abnormal Midwestern family out in the boonies. We had lunch on a barge. I got six rose of sharons to plant tomorrow.
Funny how you can know someone for a decade and never know where they came from. I knew Tamma's family lived out in the farm-river area to the north of St. Charles, but seeing it is different from knowing it. Everyone's got a story.
Speaking of which -- the GameMaster-made Wyr are good. Damn good. I love seeing creativity go hog-wild on a wiki, a sure sign that I'm getting soft in my old age.
Now I gotta go hull four pounds of strawberries. Quick, Robin -- to the batmobile!

I'm wiped, despite having done next to nothing today. There's webwork that needs to be done, and laundry that needs to be sorted, and cat litter pans that need to be cleaned, but I'm tired and I want to go to bed. In short: I am a bad person.
I had dinner with two loverly couples, one of which had a loverly child, and after chatter turned to work, I once again vowed to ask for business cards.
Speaking of business: we're talking GenCon now. Grist for the Monday morning mill. I still kind of want to go to D*C, tho. Maybe only for a couple days (a sort of leave Thursday night, drive back Sunday thing). We'll see. It all balances on finances, money, and the lemur in my closet.
Dead Wicked's script is grumbling around in my head, slowly shuddering to life and flitting in and out of reality at unexpected moments. Chapter 2 has a good story, but it reads like a vignette, and I may want to stretch the thread out so it weaves through the rest of the book.
I'm aiming to get my Chronicle up and running by June 5th. It's going to be a short run, and if we all like it and want to continue, then I'll decide if I'm going to continue with Vampire, or maybe do something else in the series. Some of the guys are really interested in Promethean. I have a hankering for Werewolf.
And then also, ex-roommate Jeff came up with this idea for a Mage character who has the talking, prophesying, mummified head of Samuel Clemens. How can I not want to run that?
We shall see.
One thing's for certain -- I'm using the Angel score in my playlist for gamenights. Sho' nuff.

Since
deedupuy announced it, I might as well, too.
It's a little bit horror, a little bit romance, and a lot urban fantasy ass-kicking. Drawrings and occasional head-knocking are by the amazing Mme. Dee.
A website will be coming RSN.
